Alexis joined the firm as an associate in October 2019, after graduating Cum Laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in May 2019. At Pepperdine, Alexis focused her studies and internships in the areas of entertainment law and intellectual property and served as Literary Citation Editor for JBEL (Pepperdine’s Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law).   Throughout law school, Alexis interned at in law firms where she focused on reviewing music publishing and entertainment law and reviewing production agreements. She also interned for the Los Angeles Lakers, where she reviewed corporate contracts including employment-related agreements, partnership agreements, and sponsorship agreements.

Alexis’ current practice at HW focuses on intellectual property protection and enforcement including trademark and copyright registration and litigation, entertainment and licensing deals, and reviewing, negotiating and drafting corporate agreements, including Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and privacy and other corporate policies.
